With only one CAT-5e cable, the EX-G032 lets you extend signals to cover the distance up to 500m (1,650ft). The devices are composed of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is installed near the video signal source, and the receiver is placed near the desired display, up to impressive 500m (1,650ft) away for composite (CVBS) case or component (YPbPr) case in 480i / 480p with digital audio to 400m (1,300ft) away. For composite case, you can send your video with analog stereo audio signal, and for component case, digital audio in S/PDIF format can be sent through a cost-effective CAT-5e cable.

The length depends on the characteristics and quality of the cables. Higher resolutions and longer transmission distances require low skew cables (<25ns/100m) for best performance. Unshielded CAT6 with metal RJ-45 connectors is recommended.
