The EX-G030 Component/Composite over CAT5 Wall Plate Extender can easily extend component video with digital S/PDIF or analog mono audio over only one CAT-5e cable. EX-G030 lets you extend signals to cover the distance up to 330m (1,000ft). The devices are composed of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is installed near the video signal source, and the receiver is placed near the desired display, up to impressive 330m (1,000ft) away for composite (CVBS) audio/video, or 150m (500ft) for component (YPbPr) video under 1080i/720p with digital audio. For composite case, you can send your video with analog stereo audio signal, and for component case, digital audio in S/PDIF format or mono analog can be sent through a cost-effective CAT-5e cable. Furthermore, there is no power needed!

The length depends on the characteristics and quality of the cables. Higher resolutions and longer transmission distances require low skew cables (<25ns/100m) for best performance. Unshielded CAT6 with metal RJ-45 connectors is recommended.
