The EX-G018 HDMI 1.3 over Coaxial Extender with IR Control Path boosts up your HDMI transmission distance up to 100m (330ft) in HDTV 1080p format. EX-G018 is easy to install and works perfectly with the RGBHV or RG-6 coaxial cables. Coaxial cables are typically used for VGA or component signals, and provide h audio and video professionals with remarkable flexibility. Built with IR control path, users can readily access the remote HDMI sources such as Blu-ray Disc players instantly. With bi-directional HDCP mechanism, high definition A/V is secured from pirating.
The EX-G018 includes two units: transmitting (EX-G018-TX) and receiving (EX-G018-RX) units. The transmitting unit is used to capture the input HDMI/DVI, HDCP and IR signals and carry the signals through 4 or 5 coaxial cables. The receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the sent TMDS multimedia data and extracting HDCP and IR data. The transmission distance between the sending and receiving units can be up to 100m (330ft) under Full HD (1080p) with 7.1 channel audio. With EX-G018 installation, current analog A/V based distribution systems can be upgraded to become pure high quality and future-proof HDMI equipped cost effectively.
